Salman Khan deposes before Jodhpur court says he is innocent in Arms case

 Bollywod superstar Salman Khan Recorded His Statement in the Jodhpur sessions court, in the Arms Act case—an offshoot of the 1998 black buck poaching case.

 The actor is charged with alleged illegal poaching of two black bucks while shooting for his film 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' in the city.

 It has been reported that defence Lawyer has sought the permission to present some more witnesses in relation to the case.

Salman has pleaded innocent, as per reports and next date for hearing has been decided as May4

Reports suggest that Salman was accompanied by his younger sister Arpita and her husband Aayush to the court.

   Meanwhile on Monday the sessions court had called for the record of the subordinate court in relation to the illegal possession and use of arms by Salman Khan on the Bollywood actors revision plea.

  KARACHI: Pakistani actress Mahira Khan have praised Bollywood actor SRK after shooting a first scene of her upcoming film Raees next year on Eid.

Mahira Khan will be seen opposite to SRK in an action-thriller flick Raees which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

The flick is being directed by Rahul Dholakia and is scheduled to be released on Eid-ul-Fitr in 2016.

Mahira Khan expressed her feelings on social media website Twitter that “My nerves were not being kind but @iamsrk was.. !Got through the first scene Raees”.

Director Rahul Dholakia is set to step back into Bollywood after 5 years with his new film Raees.

It will release on Eid.ul.Fitar next year.

Mahira is known for playing the role of Khirad in popular Pakistani drama ‘Humsafar’ and she is making her Bollywood debut with ‘Raees’ which also co-stars the versatile Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

In the movie SRK would be seen playing the role of a bootlegger and Mahira would be playing his love interest. Nawazuddin will embody a policeman chasing King Khan character.

“Raees” is an action thriller drama to be released in 2016.

  KARACHI:  (MQM) Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain has congratulated the party workers over the win in the recent by election in NA-246 Constituency and the local bodies polls in cantonment board saying MQM emerged triumphant in spite of a stream of allegations against it.

  Addressing the party workers in Jinnah Ground Altaf Hussain told the parties Rabitta Committee: “We don’t need workers for a show off we need workers who can perform.”

  The MQM Chief directed to kick start on immediate basis the process of membership across the country and asked the party’s MPAs to get vociferous in assemblies for resolving the public issues.

  He warned that any worker whose performance failed to meet the criteria will have to resign.

  He demanded the authorities to nab the murderers of Sabeen Mahmood the director of The Second Floor (T2F) who was assassinated by unknown gun man on Friday. “The secret hand involved in her assassination be unmasked.”
